Specimen Series

Inspired by the 19th century practice of botanical collection - placed, pressed and labeled in books - these are curated everyday objects treated in the same manner. Objects that have been saved, preserved, cherished and passed down. The care has transformed the ordinary into the extraordinary. These are just a few specimens of mine and my family’s, some special, others mundane. All have a message and, together, a story.
